Butter might seem like a strange Paris souvenir, but take it from me, as someone who bought 8 sticks home, my friends and family absolutely LOVED it.

Butter in France has such a unique taste becasue of it’s churning process, culture, and higher fat content. There are also so many amazing flavors like yuzu, Madagascar vanilla, salt, olive, and even buckwheat.
They range from only 4-8€ each and are an amazing Paris souvenir.

Best of all, if you go to this special supermarket: 📍 La Grande Épicerie de Paris (which you absolutely should because it’s AMAZING) you can get so many things like chocolate, truffles, the best wine, and of course butter.

They’ll vacuum seal your butter, so even if it melts, you can just refreeze it when you get home and it’ll be perfect!

Learn from my mistakes, I highly recommend putting different flavors in different vacuum seal bags and freezing it before if you can. It only costs 1€ to vacuum seal each bag.

2. Non Touristy Souvenirs From Paris: French Skincare

One of my favorite things to do in Paris is to go to all of the pharmacies for French skincare!

They have amazing products that are half the price than if you bought them in Sephora. My favorite brands to get from are Caudalie and LaRochPousay because they can be up to 50% cheaper in Paris.

The macarons in Paris are genuinely different from the macarons anywhere else in the world, and my family absolutely loved the Laduree Macaroons - they are truly the best Paris souvenir. They’re about 3€ and to get a nice box, you’ll have to buy at least 8 of them.

But entering the store and trying them is truly such an amazing Parisian experience, I highly recommend them as Paris souvenirs.

4. Luxury Paris Souvenirs To Bring Home

If you’re looking for a new luxury designer bag, Paris is the place to get it. Especially if you want a Chanel bag, why not get it at the first-ever Chanel store? This is truly the most unique and luxurious Paris souvenir because you save so much money. I ended up saving almost $2,000 on the Chanel medium classic flap.

However, some things most people forget to do is to make sure to ask for a VAT refund, grab your VAT refund before you get enter the gates, don’t forget or you’ll end up missing out on thousands of dollars!

One of my favorite Paris souvenirs I brought home was an engraved fragrance from Officine Universelle Buly.

If you haven’t seen this viral TikTok store yet, you can make customized and engraved lip balms, combs, and perfume oils, and it’s one of the most stunning stores you’ll visit.

I got my best friend a body oil and everything down to the packaging was perfect.
